Server Setup
Before using Acord's features, make sure your server has the right roles and channels set up.
1. Role Hierarchy
Acord's role must be higher than the roles it needs to assign. This is a Discord requirement — a bot cannot assign roles that are above its own highest role.
Example role hierarchy (top to bottom):
Admin Role
Acord Bot Role (must be here or higher)
Member Role
Unregistered Role
2. Create Dedicated Channels
For the best experience, create dedicated channels for Acord's features:

Some features require specific roles to be created beforehand:
Staff / Moderator— For ticket management and registration system
Member— Assigned after verification or registration
Unregistered— Assigned to new members (Registration system)
Verified— Assigned after captcha verification (optional)
4. Verify Bot Permissions
Make sure Acord has the correct permissions in each channel. Right-click the channel → Edit Channel → Permissions:

Attach Files
Read Message History
Use External Emojis
